Why SmartCleanLab Exists
The robot vacuum market is flooded with options — and flooded with reviews written by people who used a product for three days and called it a “full review.”
We built SmartCleanLab to do something different:
- Aggregate real buyer data — We analyze hundreds of Amazon reviews per model to surface what owners actually experience after months of daily use.
- Test across real home conditions — Hardwood, carpet, pet hair, tight corners, multi-floor setups. We cover the scenarios that matter.
- Stay brand-neutral — No sponsored content. No affiliate-first recommendations. Our buying guides exist to help you decide, not to push a sale.
Our Review Process
- Data Collection — We gather verified purchase reviews, return rates, and long-term ownership data from Amazon and major retailers.
- Spec Analysis — Suction power, battery life, mapping accuracy, dustbin capacity, obstacle avoidance, and app performance — all scored against category benchmarks.
- Real-World Scenarios — Each model is evaluated for: pet hair homes, hardwood floors, thick carpets, small apartments, and large multi-room layouts.
- Final Verdict — We assign a rating only after all three stages are complete. No rating is final until we’ve seen at least 90 days of post-launch buyer data.
